A truly amazing sculpture if you care to read the making of.
I found the deer skull in pristine condition on the beach shore which is quite a rare finding. Most often dead animals lying on beaches are half decomposed and not quite something one feels like collecting (not what I would call appetizing)
So I picked up the skull and a few more feet from there I found driftwood with an amazing deer shape combined with branches that look like antlers. And a few seconds later I found the deer bone.
Nevertheless, Inspiring discoveries are still only the beginning stage as the refining and assembly of the pieces are always the actual challenge. Big question is how will this hold together safely and yet look harmonious ?
The support is made from recycled metal entirely spray-painted with anti rust products and punctured with antique copper rivets.
Skull & Bone is about the natural cycle of life and death. A beautiful sculpture for any lover of absolutely unique, partly Mother Nature made artwork.
