Hello, everyone! I hope that everyhing is ok with you, you ate your broccoli and now you’re ready to be introduced to my new drawing. This piece is a proof of my love for spontaneous and compulsive drawing, so if you were wondering what is with that title of the drawing, I chose it to be simple and clear as the making of it was – Sketch.
It is one of a kind artwork and the subject is “prejudices”. It is a sketch of a girl’s portrait eating a colorful ice cream, but the holy aura is there to strenghten the contrast by predujices people have when they see a person for the first time and the truth. As it is well known, appearances can easily cheat. You know it, it’s like when you’re walking down the street and see that girl too somewhow, or thinking how that man is not ashamed to do that in public. In the same time, in my everyday life I observed that as we are so used to judge and put people in categories, we often forget that people have their bright side but also their dark side – each one of us.
The dimensions of this work are: 21 cm x 29 cm (regular A4 paper size). For this sketch I used paper, graphite and soft pastels on A quality paper. It was made in maximum 10 minutes. It is sold unframed but it can easily be framed with any frame you would like.
