Original artwork description:

The title "Sisyphus" is an obvious allusion to Albert Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus" which forms a key part of the Philosophy of the Absurd. The idea that I am aiming at is the sometimes-absurd nature of being yet one's ability to pick up one's cross and march on with a smile on one's face. It is the 'divinity' of the individual giving meaning to life which makes Sisyphus's toils worthwhile - at least that is the idea I am presenting.
