Having just returned from Greece, I am inspired by its mythology. I see the beautiful woman in this piece as a siren: a figure whose beauty and voice lure sailors to their doom. Yet in this interpretation, the danger lies not in malice, but in the irresistible pull of beauty and complexity. The siren is no longer just a myth but a metaphor for every moment we are drawn to something beyond our control.
