I walked over London Bridge on a daily basis for 4 years on the way to my job in The City. Although my day job was in an office, I had been a closet artist since I was a teenager. My walk to and from work was the most enjoyable part of my day. I became fascinated by the view. Every day, it offered me another picture, another mood, another colour, another revelation. As I marched with an army of commuters, I couldn’t believe how the majority walked on without looking, they couldn’t see the endless beauty on either side, it didn’t matter to them. What a shame. I no longer work in an office. I’m an artist.
