Signal S.O.P. (Save Our Planet) is an artwork depicting a simplified man holding a planet Earth. The global warming is causing the ice caps melt and Africa continent to become unsuitable for living. The man is in agony, yet he is hugging the planet, to protect. The man on the image understands that there is no other planet. He is awake. It is a turning point for him. This artwork is not about blaming, not about pointing and shaming. The problem of global warming is not because people tried to be evil to the planet, but because people were so self-absorbed in routine, business, consumption and production that they overlooked the fragility of our environment. The artwork depicts a moment a man becomes aware of the results of his actions.
I decided to depict a man in a gestural, simplified manner with ink and brush. And make the earth in color with pencils.

COP26 (the UN climate change conference) – held in the UK at the end of 2020 – will be the moment the world will see which political leaders are willing to take the positive action needed to fight climate change. Octopus Energy wants to ensure that every leader at COP26 understands the strength of popular support.
The artwork is aimed to raise awareness of the impact of climate change.
