The painting is one of a larger series ''The Storage of the 21st Century Signs''.
Ancient cave paintings inspired me to start painting the series. According to some theories, cave paintings were not just merely decorations of living areas and they may have been a way of communication with others. As one of my goals is to paint a language, for me traffic and safety symbols as well as symbols found in shopping centres somehow relate to ancient cave paintings. They also are a certain way of communication and they can tell a story of the 21st century humans in their visual images.
The one-of-a-kind, original and unique artwork will come signed and dated on the back, ready to hang and with certificate of authenticity attached to it's back. The edges are painted, therefore no need for framing, but it can be framed if desired.
🌍❤ The environment and ecological awareness is of great importance to me, therefore:
👍Vintage canvas.
👍Water based varnish.
👍All used materials are with archival quality and will last for decades.
👍For packaging my artworks I rescue cardboard boxes from supermarkets.
