Original artwork description:

The Google Earth Landscapes project is our attempt thorough traditional fine arts to reflect the change in people’s perception of the planet Earth. In particular how contemporary artists see our Planet.

Global networks and new technologies of social connectedness completely change our perception of the planet in the relatively recent past. Now an artist, like any person, is more than just a resident of his region who is doomed to perceive or
to represent his environment locally and offline, but an inhabitant of the global world who sees almost all texts and landscapes of the Earth, through the constant connection to global
networks.
Google Earth Landscapes is not only a global search engine system with the ability to geolocate, but also a global machine visualization of the surrounding world on a planetary scale.

We cannot ignore the fact that planet Earth has become small and often on social networks, many people have become mark your location other than # Berlin or # Palermo,
but like #EarthPlanet. This designation of your location is not always just ironic. We believe that most often this is exactly a new perception of oneself and one's place in the world and in the Universe.

It is difficult to overestimate how important such a planetary view is for preserving the environment and we believe that it is necessary
encourage and develop not only through direct ideological impact but also indirect promotion of the idea: "The earth is our common home." Including showing that a modern artist is not only everything still has the right to portray landscapes, but is not obliged to portray
only landscapes that he sees around him offline.
