Artist's description:

Part of the Alternate World Series created by the Manta Rays of October & November 2016. This is a harbour scene of a Hastings, East Sussex (the Breakwater can vaguely be seen in the background). The seashells that I found on the beach there are somewhat larger than life in this picture, a sketch done in my favourite colour of this year - Pthalo Green (which is as much blue as it is green). They are quietly, surreptitiously, storming the beach. It happens all the time.

As with the other abstracts, I have tried to restrict the palette and also to leave brushstrokes as brushstrokes.

This piece is in France, so if you are interested in buying it please contact me first as to when I can next go there to dispatch it to you please.
