An oil painting of Shibden Hall in Halifax, West Yorkshire the home of Anne Lister and was which used in the filming of Gentleman Jack. A place I live near and enjoy visiting I wasn't going to paint it as it's been done many times but I couldn't resist having a go at it. I painted it in spring before the beds were planted up but I like the shape of them
