Artist's description:

Taking photo’s for me is a process of observation, composition and future inspiration, much like the empty canvas, a raw photo inspires me to create further.

My views of Vancouver are a series of sixteen pieces specific to the city I call home, setting myself some rules and constraints such as: they will all be the same format and the manipulations will enlist the use of geometric shapes such as squares, circles, polygons, etc. In my book ( each spread provides the viewer with a small representation of the original photo and through simple line drawings, the specific geometric shapes used to help create each artwork. The second tool in creating these pieces was Illustrator and Photoshop.

This series of fourteen works from 2013 are a precursor to me obtaining an iPad and working for the next four years using the Procreate app.

These are unique one-of-one, 300dpi prints, UV archival treated and mounted on Chai archival matting. They all come framed in a handsome black, brushed steel frame with UV resistant glass and are ready to hang. These will be shipped from my Vancouver studio and not White Wall in Berlin.
