Artwork description:

I have this old Singer sewing machine. It's incredible. No fancy doodads! So, I made a few masks. They didn't come out great, I must say! But I drew the machine and the mask...and I like the image a lot. Maybe because it's just the best little machine I've ever used! And it just reminds me what this time is all about: a little anxiety and a lot of durability!

I drew the image onto linoleum, cut out the negative space, leaving the positive image. Then, I inked it up with oil-based ink and printed it onto off-white Strathmore paper.
