Artist's description:

Setcreasea Purpurea is a perennial herbaceous plant from Mexico characterized by succulent stems that take a creeping habit.

The feature that makes this plant so pretty and appreciated is the purple color of the stem and the leaves. The leaves are fleshy, sheathing, lance-shaped and arranged in a spiral along the stem.

Both the leaves and the stems are covered with a soft fluff which gives the plant very particular reflections.

Technique used: graphite pencil and watercolor on 300 gr. Fabriano artistic paper
