Artwork description:

4 Strong women , on 4 strong horses, ready for anything, riding towards their destiny!
This is a set of 4 prints.

a handprinted aquatint etching; I ink up the copperplates in a soft sepia brown.
You can ask me to print them in a custom color!
I use first class papers and ink to give my work the best possible longevity.
Aquatint is a technique where deep tones can be achieved on an etching, it involves rosin, that gets melted onto the copperplate with the help of a burner, when immersed in the acid in stages, it gives lovely rich tones on the copper plate.
If you would like to see me make and print an etching, go to the "me at work" section, I have a whole bunch of films there.

The Horsewomen are printed in an edition of only 50 prints,
please be aware that I can't guarantee that you get the number on the photo......

Each print is numbered and signed by me.

The aquatint etchings are printed on a piece of warm white
heavy printmaking paper, perfect for the image,
the paper measures 13" x 10" (30 cm x 25 cm) for each print
and the actual image measures 6" x 9" (15cm x 24 cm) for each print
the set fits into standard frames, you can make this display as large as you want really, frame them together in one large frame of 4 separate frames to be hung as a group.

I ship from my studio in Denmark, with many years of packing art, to ensure it arrives safely! (See my reviews)

Thank you for looking in my shop and very welcome back!
