Original artwork description:

Self-Portrait with Roses and Moths continues my work inspired by a combination of abstract, contour, and minimalist painting.

As ever, the piece focuses on attempting to remember specificity, but having trouble accurately assembling disparate ideas. The individual pieces are honest, but the end result is confused.

The portrait also considers the state of nature, and our place within it.
