This summer I was in Italy.
I discover fantastic place in Marina Roseto Capo Spulico.
On the beach is a Castle named Castello Federiciano. The beach is empty. Sometimes it seems that I was on a deserted island.
There are many birds fly around the castle. Absolute silence, only the sound of the sea and the cry of birds.
Having painted the sea and the castle, I discovered that the picture was empty. It has not occurred to me in a long time how I can complete the picture.
I wanted to add mystery to the picture.
And I add old boat with a raven. I imagined how this place was at the time of pirates and castles.

The picture was painted from real landscape in Marina Roseto Capo Spulico, Italy. It is wonderful place!
