Artwork description:

A short train journey to a different world, from Tel Aviv, to Sderot. The climate and terrain changed, and with it came a change in atmosphere. It was my first time here, and the sun finally emerged from sliver rainclouds; The border was within touching distance, and all around were shelters, some brightly painted, some doubling as bus stops. I decided to paint one. The work is on a 0.4 inch deep canvas so it can therefore hang without the need for further framing. Texture has been added to give extra depth.

Materials used:

acrylic and card
