Artist's description:

The painting is on a stretched canvas painted around the edges. It can be hung unframed or you can frame it if you prefer.

On the Scottish Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, there aren't many cars on the roads. Instead there are sheep. They don't seem too worried about the possibility of being run over. Maybe their long curly horns make them feel invincible! I wanted to paint one to remember our trip round Scotland and to celebrate their striking look.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint, acrylic medium, aerosol varnish
