This watercolor represents Sanary sur mer harbour seen from the Tourist Office. In the foreground we can see birds of paradise (Strelitzia), this almost emblematic flower of Sanary. In the background, the port district with its old houses, the Saint-Nazaire church and its quay lined with palm trees can be seen through the masts of the 'pointus', the traditional fishing boats. This watercolor was made on Hahnemühle 640g paper. It is framed (white passepartout, solid light wood stick, varnished, 2.1cm wide) and ready to hang (see photo). Interior dimensions of the mount: 28.5x38.5
