It's not just birds that migrate in autumn. Watching leaping salmon fighting to get up river to spawn is one of the season's highlights. There are records of salmon leaping at least 12 feet in their determination to ascend waterfalls. During these prodigious feats the fish almost seem to fly rather than jump.
This evocative painting is a semi abstract, depiction of salmon traversing a difficult area of the river at a waterfall and performing their spectacular leaps. You can see the glints of silver and almost hear the crashing of the falls on the rocks below. The painting has plenty of movement to indulge the senses and complement the imagination, enabled by many subtle brush strokes. The sides are painted white, so further framing is optional. It comes, signed and dated on the back and initialled on the front by the artist, with a Certificate of Authenticity.

It will be carefully packed in bubble wrap and a professionally designed box and sent by courier Special Next Day Tracked Delivery, so that you will know when to expect it to arrive - very useful if you are at work. Alternatively you can have it delivered to your workplace.
