Artist's description:

This beautiful pen and ink watercolour is a study of York Minster in the UK.

The architecture of this building is amazing and there is definitely enough to keep any artist busy for a lifetime. The thing that struck me about the Minster was the obvious statues of the saints in prominent view, whilst hidden in the eaves are the ugly little gargoyles (some of which are funny, some of which are quite sinister). And that difference between good and bad, Saints and Sinners became the title of this painting.

The gargoyle is not named at the Minster but the statue I chose to paint was Saint Peter.

This is a one off, original painting.

Remember... if you are purchasing this painting from outside of the UK or Europe, then you may have to pay import tax depending upon the country where you live.
