Original artwork description:

Another night - another dream. I had this dream back in 2011. There was a woman asleep being watched over by a lion. He was protecting her while she slept. In the background were two younger girls - sisters I think. The younger girl was holding a star and pointing to the heavens as if showing her older sister where she got the star. I then woke up. After obsessing over the dream and image for a week or two, I knew I had to paint it. I added the stepping stones ignored to give the viewer an idea where and how the young girl got the star. In hindsight I don't think that was necessary. Oh well . . .
