This piece is about remembering the past accomplishments that brought you to where you are today. I have incorporated this image of Bethlehem Steel into many works but this piece feature some stencil work that does not commonly appear in my pcs. This painting is also one of the more detailed and complex images of the old mill that I have made, and I really love the blue colors that washed out of the inks I used in its creation. The seen is of the abandoned mill which was a massive structure that continues well off into the distance. A lone figure (myself) is pictured off to the left in a somber pose, hands in the pockets, hat down as if wishing to see the beast awaken one last time. While this was done with inks it was not set on raw canvas like the rest of my series. Also this being the first depiction of the mill in my work I have kept this in my private collection for several years. I am offering several pieces for a limited time from this private stash so if you like the piece snap it up before it is gone. As always no prints, no copies, original only.
