My best mate, Pete, and I loved to fly fish in the Rubicon River. We never caught anything, but who really gives a stuff when you’re in a place that’s to die for.
Sadly, that’s exactly what Pete did a year ago - suddenly overnight like a weeping willow snapping in half without a hint of what’s downstream.
I miss him so badly.
