Artist's description:

This painting was accepted for inclusion in The Colors of - Humanity "Yellow" international show - May 2018. - When I was a child visiting my grandparents, there was a train track not too far behind their house. At the first far-off whistle sound, we kids would drop what we were doing and run down to the track in hopes that the conductor or the engineer would wave back at us. I love to hear the lonely sound of trains during the night - it takes me back to my childhood.
