During the Covid-19 i realized friends are our second family, those one we choose to share with, this is the portrait of the friend I admire the most, and I didn't want to represent the classic portrait of a woman or any feminine pose, so I thought this was the best way to get a sense of her, her self-confidence, looking directly at the viewer, surrounded by nature with powerful colors making the sense of respect and also admiration feel close to us.
In this portrait, layered with acrylics and finely detailed with oil pastels, the colored borders help to integrate the image as a whole body and not simply a window of alberti ***the work is signed behind the canvas ready to hang***
