Roses Aren't Red is a series of small studies. Through the month of May, I will be releasing one painting a day. The common thing being the rose pattern, and lots of colour as always. The style is full of energy through gestural and loose brush strokes, yet it's got a sense of serenity through the use of horizontal lines and the formations of hills.
The painting is done on high-quality paper and comes unframed, however, it easily fits into store-bought frames.
