Rosalind loves when she gets turned out in the buttercup field in the spring. The milk gets rich and the butter really yellow!

This collage is made on a natural colour fabric a bit like canvas. Rosalind is made of a kind of flannelly fabric in black and white so she is really soft and lovely! She is standing in grass made from different little bits of green cotton fabrics with yellow felt buttercups. They have all been stitched on with black thread to give contrast. The sky is little blue cotton dots that have been embroidered on with blue thread. The little birds in the sky are embroidered on with black thread and they have a little bit of colouring with gouache. Rosalind's name has been embroidered on the front of the collage as has my signature. The collage is backed with a sturdy linen to give it some stability. I am selling this collage un-framed but have photographed it in a frame so you can see how lovely it looks in a black frame.
