Original artwork description:

What's an artist to do when she goes to the local municipal park to paint trees and a curious rooster captivates her attention? She paints the rooster, of course! This endearing and gentlemanly fowl never left my sight all morning. Passersby recognized him, saying he is typically shy. Seeing how he took a shine to me, I was dubbed "The Chicken Whisperer" for a day. Such fun having great company on a beautiful, sunny day.
I couldn't help but love his shiny, showy plumage-- his bright reds handsomely complementing the green foliage surrounding him.
I hope you love him too.

Materials used:

Graham oil paints applied with palette knife and brushes
