In the painting, I depicted a view of the roofs of the city from the Old Town Bridge Tower. The tower offers a stunning view of the old town, the river, and the landscape. I really love this industrial combination of utilitarian roof construction with the elegant historical architecture of Prague. And the way the silhouettes of the roofs, sparkling in the sun, create a geometric abstraction of the city.
