The celebrated and innovative American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, maintained a home, studio and estate called Taliesin, in Spring Green, Wisconsin, U.S. Among the many structures he designed and built there are these conjoined towers, which form a windmill named Romeo and Juliet. Designing Romeo and Juliet was one of Wright's earliest personal projects.
I visited Taliesin many years ago. This painting, which I made back in 2011 a few years after seeing Romeo and Juliet in person, is based on my photographs and memories of the place. I recommend visiting Taliesin. Whether you do or not, please consider adding my painting of Romeo and Juliet to your home or office, or make it a gift to someone.
This original painting is sold unframed. Please note: This painting is on a thin canvas panel; not on frame-stretched canvas. Photos showing the work in a frame are for example only.
Thank you for taking a closer look and considering this painting. Though you buy the painting itself, I retain unlimited rights to use and re-use images of the painting, and to make and use works derivative of it, for any/all purposes.
