I really enjoyed painting this on a larger than normal chunky canvas. It's a view inspired by Sennen Cove in Cornwall. I think I've mentioned before that I love the colours, the pale sand and the turquoise sea contrasting with the dark rocks. It's painted in oils and the paint has been put down in layers with bits of the original layer showing through to create depth. I've used brushes and palette knives to create texture. Hope you like it.
