Artist's description:

This is the first in a series based on "El Dia de los Muertos," (the Day of the Dead.)
It's interesting because it can hang as a 36"x40" rectangle or it can hang diagonally--about 52" that way. I've posted photos of it in both ways. When you buy it, let me know how you want it and I will install the hanging wire accordingly.
Originally, I planned and painted it on the diagonal but, when I set it on its flat edge so it wouldn't fall off the easel during my absence, I could see that there is a certain quirkiness to it being rectangular. My informal straw poll of opinion on this issue as to how it should be oriented has worked out dead even. So, you buy it and you decide. It's going to be a very fun and colorful series.
The stretcher frame is heavy duty and handmade.
