Artist's description:

In the year that I was born Enoch Powell made a speech which came to be known as the Rivers of Blood speech . The speech for those who do not know criticised Commonwealth immigration policy and anti-discrimination legislation. The discourse that resulted from this speech are still current today. I wanted to create something visually interesting around the idea. Something stimulating and layered and complex to look at as a response. The surface is reflective so that the viewer can see themselves within the context of the piece. Enjoy.
