Painted over the course of a week spent in the beautiful village of Zebegény, the Of Forest Paths series aims to discover this enviourment not entirely natural, but relatively untouched. Nature and man coexisting allows for some interesting compositions to be born, this piece features the Danube river, which runs close to the village Zebegény and locals frequent it for swimming. We get to know the typical small Hungarian village with the belltower guarding over the area. I remember painting this work in a really uncomfortable position on the top of some vantage point. As other pieces of this series, this too was completed on location and was featured in a local exhibition back then.
