Artist's description:

This digitally crafted, still life illustration features one of the earliest publications addressing feminism and gender equality, 'A Vindication of the Rights of Woman' by Mary Wollstonecraft. It is currently estimated that it will take over 170 years to achieve any sort of gender parity, and the inclusion in this artwork of a current affairs news article would suggest that that number will only be increasing.

Mark this years International Women's Day and join the #BeBoldForChange campaign by celebrating the cultural achievements and contributions of women with this limited edition literary inspired artwork. We would all benefit from a gender inclusive world...and we are a long way from achieving it!

Using a technique that merges a background of traditional illustration with digital art, these 8x8'', easy to frame, limited edition prints are finished on a textured fine art paper with an archival quality.

Each print is signed and numbered on the front and arrives cello-wrapped and backed with mounting board.

Materials used:

190gsm Textured Fine Art Paper

Rights of Woman (#IWD2017) (2017)
