Capturing the curve of the ultra-thin Macbook inspired roof at the Apple Store Chicago, photographed by William Dey.
Every design feature of the store, minimizes the boundaries between the interior and exterior, including the ultra-thin roof and 32-foot glass walls. The transparency is heightened with radius corners of glass that visually disappear. The architects also tapered the metallic-colored roof’s edges so it visually rests more lightly on top of the glass walls.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be donated to the Chicago Architecture Center, which is a nonprofit cultural organization with tours, exhibitions, programs and events for all ages. It's mission is to inspire people to discover why design matters.
Image is printed on Picture Rag museum-quality paper and measures 15"W X 20"H with additional white borders for a total overall measurement of 17" X 22".
