Nature, it's colours & forms has always been my greatest inspiration.
Throughout life's ups & downs my creativity has been my constant.

At the darkest time in my life, having lost everything, I discovered that my intimate portraits of Flowers & Nature's details brought me balance, wellbeing & joy. Learning that my work had the same affect on others led me to explore the influence of colour & Natural forms on mood, emotions & wellbeing in greater depth.

My work explores the connection between our psyche & emotional wellbeing, investigating how colour, the seasons & Nature's shifts change our emotions, mood & can heal at a physical level. There is even a scientific name for the phenomenon 'Biophilia', which has proved that bringing images & nature into our living & working spaces enhances mental awareness, creates positivity, relaxation & wellbeing. That colour has a huge impact on how we feel & can create major shifts in our emotional & physical health.
Rather than painting what I feel, I paint what I need & the creative process changes my emotions & I've has so many clients & viewers tell me the paintings then have the same effect on them.
Each painting carries with it a story, a learning, as the meditative state of creativity shifts feelings & leads me through a process of unravelling spiritual, emotion & life situations, leading to answers & clarity.
My latest body of work delves deeper into the feminine, celebrating & giving light to all that we are as women & our vital roles in society. Taking my own life experience & other women's stories, the paintings encourage women to rise in confidence & self worth. Understanding their value, their achievements , rekindling dreams & taking a positive steps forward to their fulfilment. This project is titled 'See Me I Bloom', it promotes women stepping out of feeling invisible, unfulfilled as they move through the years. To understand that in the experiences of life we grow in wisdom & that as we age , that is when our true flourishing occurs, when we are in our power.

I've been lucky enough to have my work collected all over the world & staged some exciting big solo exhibitions in prestigious venues. such as RHS Wisley, RHS Hyde Hall & other venues. I hope my work brings you as much joy as it gives me to create.
