Original artwork description:
This series of work is based on collages I produced combining contemporary male model portraits with classical statues. The base collages for these pieces incorporated yellow, aged vintage paper ephemera and the image was transfered over the collage. This particular collage is comprised of vintage medical prescriptions.
The circles are cut from leftover paint scraps and applied to the surface.
The piece was skim coated with epoxy resin and finished with matte varnish.
