Original artwork description:

In this new painting on A4 paper I've depicted the design of a late 1950s Kellogg's Corn Flakes box. Ever since I was a child I've loved breakfast cereal, but it's only since I've became an artist that I started to appreciate the awesome graphic design that goes into some of the packaging. And what could be more iconic than Corn Flakes?

This design was one of the first to feature the mascot Cornelius Rooster, in his striking green, yellow, and red graphic style. I've previously painted boxes of Ricicles and Frosties - both can be seen elsewhere in my shop.

Much like Andy Warhol faithfully recreating his favourite everyday food packaging in a modern, graphic art style, my painting of the cereal box is pretty faithful to the original - although I omitted some strawberries in the cereal on the original image.

The end result is a bold and bright piece of art that would brighten up any room in your home, although it would look especially great in the kitchen.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame.
