Artist's description:

This is the second of 3 works by this title and it's the last as the other two were sold.

The title behind this work came from an idea to place a smaller canvas underneath or near a larger canvas to collect and runoff, drips, splatters....residual from the larger piece and, in a way, creates another painting.

Plus, it was a great way to not have too much paint go to waste.

This painting did exhibit with its "siblings" at a showing in Hollywood, CA.

The edges are painted black and painting can be hung as is.

Materials used:

Acrylic

Residual II (2015)
