Artwork description:

When and if future visitors to our lovely planet were to dig up our remains to find out what happened, would they find the icons representing love and spirit among the detritus of its existence and wonder at their incongruity on a ravaged planet?

Painted in response to ArtFinder and Octopus Energy's "Portraits From The Precipice" competition.

It is shortlisted in the Portraits From The Precipice collection, and will appear on billboards in the UK.

ArtFinder is donating its commission from the sales of the pieces in this collection to Renewable World. I will donate my proceeds to The Nature Conservancy.🌎

Available exclusively on Artfinder.

Painted with pastels and watercolors, including gold, on premier Ampersand ScratchbordTM (sustainability sourced wood manufactured into hardboard using no formaldehyde, coated with kaolin clay covered in india ink).

Accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. Customs fees and/or duty may be payable by the recipient.
