A vintage airplane was left to rust in an aviation boneyard. Over the years various owners had left their mark, in either stenciled numbers and letters, spray paint to mask others’ codes, or various layers of brushed body paint in an attempt to make the ol’ girl pretty again, to no avail. Interesting abstract shapes and painterly mark-making are evidence of a well traveled past.
