Artist's description:

This etching with aquatint is hand-printed using the chine collé technique on white BFK paper and Japanese origami paper. I created the image based on one of my daily black-and-white mandala drawings and it is about that moment when you let go of one dream to pursue another.

It is from a édition variée of 10, indicating that it is a limited edition of 10 prints and the chine collé paper used varies in color. This listing is for prints from the edition on lavender origami paper.

Process: This is a fine art print created using traditional etching/aquatint techniques. Each print is hand-pulled by me using a Sturges etching press so that slight variations may occur between prints. The print image is 4 x 4 inches on 11 x 15 inch BFK paper (100% cotton rag and neutral pH) and Japanese origami paper.

Materials used:

Charbonel etching ink, 250 g Rives BFK printmaking paper, Japanese origami paper
