It had been one of our first warm days in March that I went out for the day with my camera. We were shooting the sunset on Belle Isle and decided to go home when it looked like all the color had left the sky - but first, one more trip around the island. As we neared the bridge that took us back to Detroit, I saw that the river had smoothed out and the Detroit skyline was reflected in the water. It was then that I cried out the call of the photographer: "Stop the car!!!!"
