Original artwork description:
This oil painting features the reflections of an old sailing boat which is often present in the port of Sète. The simplification of the reflections, only keeping the essential, gives it an abstract rendering. Sketches and watercolors made in-situ served as studies fo its making on a linen canvas. The technique of successive glazes used here is a lenghty process which lasted from November 2019 to February 2020. It gives the painting luminosity. This painting is sold with a wooden floating frame, ready to hang.
