Artist's description:

Contrast and color. These are the basic principles of pop art. But this is also the main set of characteristics that captures a persons eye. This piece was inspired by an experimental idea. I wanted to switch up my backgrounds from bright colors to completely black. On top of this, I wanted to maximize the contrast of colors and observe thier decay patterns. The continues this summers theme with gold accents as well, the branches are carefully laced with bronze and gold paint to give the piece a unique shine in any light.

Birds have always caught my attention for their free way of life. They are able to fly and sore above the world that we are bound to. This sense of freedom is something that I am truly envious of.
