I painted this on a warm summer day on the Norfolk Broads.
This is Barton Turf, a favourite place in the Broads, where I have painted on many previous occasions.
As I was painting the view here, the green yacht with red sails came sailing into view, and almost in a stroke, I managed to capture it, before it swiftly disappeared from view. I’m glad it came past, as it finished off my painting.
