This heavy bodied acrylic painting is inspired by beautiful Red Rock Canyon to the west of Las Vegas, Nevada. The red rocks of the mountain glow and change in different light and with the changing weather. Truly, it is a painted desert. The heavy paint gives a sense of texture to the rocks in this work.
The artwork is wrap-around painted so that it is ready to hang unframed. It is finished with a satin varnish to protect it from dust and UV rays.
