Artist's description:

I drive over Saddleworth Moor two or three times a year. It's a desolate place but there's beauty in its barrenness. The moor is in the South Pennines located in North West England. The moorland, reaches more than 1,312 feet above sea level and is known as the Dark Peak area of the National Peak District Park.

I often stop and admire the view and on this occasion I took the opportunity to grab a memory of my visit in watercolour.

This is a one off, original painting.
